MEG SUTTON, P.T.A.
Certified Yoga Instructor
Meg Sutton completed the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Whatcom Community College in 2010 and is very happy to join forces with Sidney at Oasis PT. Meg, a certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher, has been teaching yoga since 2003, and currently teaches at Bellingham’s own Yoga Northwest. Originally from New Hampshire, Meg moved to Seattle in 2000 to study dance at Cornish College of the Arts where she received advanced training in classical ballet techniques and modern dance. Here, she was introduced to Laban Movement, Feldenkrais, Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen’s Body-Mind Centering techniques, and yoga. Meg soon realized her affinity for the healing arts far out shown her desire to be a performing artist. In 2004 she moved to Bellingham to complete her bachelor’s degree at Western Washington University (WWU) in pursuit of a career in Physical Therapy.
While taking courses at WWU, Meg studied yoga extensively at Yoga Northwest, where she completed a 2-year apprenticeship with Ingela Abbott and went on to earn her certification as an Iyengar Yoga Teacher. A dancer and a yogi, Meg has a passion for helping people discover how to move with ease and freedom. Combining her knowledge of movement/exercise techniques with her strong manual therapy skills, Meg uses a wide variety of tools to help patients recover from injury and find the tools needed to navigate the changing conditions of their body. She has experience working with special populations of yoga students, and enjoys creating “adaptive” exercise programs for seniors, plus- sized individuals, and individuals with disabilities. Since beginning her work at Oasis Physical Therapy, she has had the opportunity to study Pilates-based exercise techniques with Sidney, and has enjoyed incorporating these dynamic exercises into her treatments. She is looking forward to her continued work with Sidney at Oasis Physical Therapy to develop specialized exercise and injury prevention programs unique to each patient.

TREVOR LeDAIN, D.P.T.
Shortly after high school, Trevor had the good fortune of racing windsurfers, both regionally, as well as on the World Cup. During that time, he had first hand experience with rehab after fracturing both his ankle and his hand. His interest in physical therapy, however, peaked while helping a friend with a spinal cord injury. Trevor and two other friends shared in the 24-hour nursing care that their friend required. After two years, Trevor returned to school to earn a Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation from the University of Wollongong in Australia, and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Montana in Missoula.
Since graduating, Trevor has worked in orthopaedic outpatient physical therapy, acute care in hospitals, as well as skilled nursing facilities. He enjoys working with all populations and works closely with his patients in developing a plan of care to meet their goals, whether it be finishing a marathon after a muscle strain or improving strength and balance to return to independent living at home.
